Project Sanjeevani was launched on Wednesday July 9th, 2008 at India International Center in New Delhi, India. With support from Omaxe foundation and initiated by Maitri organization, Rohtas Goel launched Project Sanjeevani, which will accomplish the goal of extending testing and treatment of both HIV/AIDS and TB to 10,000 construction workers through Omaxe. It is a big step considering the high levels of the infection in the migrant and worker population.
Also, this morning, news came in that the Maitri organization was now partnered with Harvard and would receive aid from them in terms of research and supplies for Project Sanjeevani.
Finally, this forum was created on the 9th (and the second one on the 10th) and they are both fully functional and ready to go.
